As soon as you start using your wallet on the network, it will run in the background and alert you if you are doing something wrong, like connecting to a phishing site or purchasing a scam.

An example that is important to know –

Not long ago my friend wanted to buy a coin on Uniswap.

He googled “uniswap” and Google search showed him uniSAP.

Without knowing or noticing, he connected to a fake site that was almost identical, connected his wallet and saw his entire wallet draining live 🙈

You can never fully prevent it but you can protect yourself and importantly I want to note –

No algorithm is perfect so I don’t expect it to stop 100% of all the scams out there.

As long as it helps stop way more than I could have identified on my own, it’s a win for my toolkit.
